Arrival – Corrientes or Posadas


Arrive by flight or long-distance bus to one of the gateway cities.

Main entry options:
• Corrientes – closest and most common
• Posadas – possible alternative

From Buenos Aires:
• Direct flights to Corrientes
• Flights to Posadas (less ideal but workable)

Transfer to Iberá (Base)


Travel from Corrientes or Posadas into the wetlands.

How to get there:
• Pre-arranged lodge transfer (recommended)
• Private transfer / remis
• Bus only reaches nearby towns, not lodges

Typical access points:
• Colonia Carlos Pellegrini (most developed)
• Remote estancias (more exclusive)

Base:
• Eco-lodge or estancia inside Iberá
• Stay 3–5 nights (no point rushing)

Roads are mostly unpaved — transfers take time.
